This research addresses the challenge of unstable positioning trajectory tracking and impulse noise in pseudo-range measurements experienced by 5G mobile communication and Beidou navigation system (BDS) antennas on offshore small maritime unmanned vehicles (SMUV) under harsh sea conditions. A novel Kalman filter algorithm is proposed, integrating Approximate Message Passing (AMP) and Variational Bayesian (VB) techniques within a high-update-rate fusion positioning model combining 5G and BDS. The AMP algorithm is designed to predict instantaneous position movements induced by wave disturbances, while the VB algorithm effectively smooths pulse errors in trajectory tracking caused by intermittent signal shielding. Experimental evaluations demonstrate that this integrated approach significantly enhances positioning stability and accuracy. Specifically, the
algorithm achieves root mean square errors of 1.19 m, 1.26 m, and 1.27 m under 20, 30, and 40 wave impacts, respectively, representing a substantial improvement in positioning accuracy compared to adaptive variational Bayesian methods.
