Aerospace Bionic Robotics BEAM-D Technical Project Details
| Abstract |
This research outlines the creation and implementation of a procedure called Biomimetic Engineering Design Methodology (BEAM-D) for aerospace bionic robotics advanced mechatronic systems. The objective is to develop a methodical way for other researchers to use biologically inspired designs as part of their engineering process for complicated systems. While examining the field of biomimicry, this study focuses primarily on how to replicate the functions and mechanisms of nature in order to develop robotic systems for use in aerospace environments that are highly demanding. The methodology includes the design and model of individual bionic robotic components and the simulation of their performance, including structural design, control, actuation, and adaptive control, as
well as other mechanical structural systems. Important design objectives include weight reduction, energy autonomy, operational resilience, and system control inspired by biological models. The design of BEAM-D-derived systems' overall mechanical structure and processes must be validated through defined guidelines for reliability and integrity. This systematic study seeks to develop the first of many technical standards to achieve optimal, sustainable robotic systems and biologically inspired engineering solutions for aerospace bionic robotics.
