These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of friedengineers.com, including its content, educational resources, project and research guidance, consulting or support services, digital materials, communication channels, and any other services offered by Fried Engineers.

By accessing the website, submitting an enquiry, purchasing or requesting a service, making a payment, downloading a resource, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the website and services.

1. About Fried Engineers

Fried Engineers is an education-focused platform that provides engineering students, researchers, professionals and other users with educational content, technical guidance, project-related support, research assistance, learning resources and related services.

The exact scope, price, timeline and deliverables of a paid service may vary depending on the user’s requirements and will be communicated separately through the website, email, WhatsApp, invoice, quotation, order confirmation or another agreed communication channel.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to purchase services from Fried Engineers.

Users under the age of 18 should use paid services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Where a purchase is made for a minor, the parent or guardian is responsible for reviewing and accepting these Terms.

3. Services We May Provide

Depending on availability, Fried Engineers may provide services including:

engineering project guidance and mentorship;
B.Tech, M.Tech and higher-education project support;
research methodology and research structuring guidance;
technical and academic writing support;
data analysis, programming and technical implementation guidance;
AI, machine learning, electronics and engineering project resources;
research topic and project idea guidance;
technical documentation and presentation support;
educational tutorials, articles, question banks and learning material;
digital files, templates, source-code examples or downloadable resources;
consultation, mentoring and other educational support services.

Not every service listed above will necessarily be available at all times. We may introduce, modify, suspend or discontinue services where reasonably required.

4. Educational Purpose & Academic Integrity

Important: Fried Engineers provides educational, technical and advisory support. Our services are intended to assist users in learning, understanding, researching, developing and improving their own work.

Users remain responsible for complying with the academic integrity, examination, research ethics, plagiarism, authorship and submission rules of their university, college, employer, publisher, funding body or other institution.

Fried Engineers does not authorize its services to be used for:

impersonating another person;
cheating in examinations or assessments;
submitting work in violation of institutional rules;
fabricating research data or results;
plagiarism or copyright infringement;
falsifying qualifications, experience or credentials;
circumventing academic or professional integrity requirements; or
any fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful activity.

If your institution requires disclosure of external assistance, AI usage, editing, programming support or consultancy, you are responsible for making the appropriate disclosure.

5. Enquiries, Orders & Scope of Work

An enquiry submitted through the website, email, WhatsApp, telephone or another communication channel does not automatically create a binding obligation on Fried Engineers to provide a service.

A service is considered accepted when its essential requirements, price or payment arrangement and scope have been agreed between the user and Fried Engineers.

Users are responsible for providing complete and accurate requirements, deadlines, reference material, institutional guidelines, datasets, specifications and other information required to perform the requested service.

Material changes to requirements after work has started may constitute additional work and may result in revised pricing or timelines.

6. Pricing, Payments & Taxes

Prices may be displayed on the website or quoted individually depending on the nature of the service.

Unless otherwise agreed, Fried Engineers may require full or partial advance payment before starting work or releasing deliverables.

Any balance payment must be made according to the payment schedule communicated for the relevant order. Fried Engineers may withhold final deliverables until outstanding payments relating to that service have been cleared.

Prices, discounts and promotional offers may be changed or withdrawn at any time before an order is confirmed.

Applicable taxes, transaction charges or payment processing charges may be added where required by law or disclosed during the transaction.

Payments may be processed by third-party banks, payment gateways or payment service providers. Their own terms, privacy practices and security procedures may also apply.

7. Delivery & Timelines

Any delivery date or completion timeline communicated by Fried Engineers is based on the scope and information available at the time it is provided.

Timelines may be affected if the user delays in providing information, feedback, approvals, datasets, access credentials, required files or payments.

Fried Engineers will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines but does not guarantee a particular completion time where circumstances outside reasonable control affect delivery.

Deliverables may be provided through email, cloud storage, secure download, messaging platforms, repositories or other agreed electronic methods.

8. Revisions & Changes

Where revisions are included in a service, they apply only to changes reasonably falling within the originally agreed scope.

A revision does not include creation of a substantially different project, redesign based on new requirements, replacement of the original topic, major changes to datasets or methodology, or additional work that was not included in the original scope.

Additional work may require additional fees and a revised delivery schedule.

9. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the type of service, the stage of completion and whether work or a digital resource has already been delivered.

9.1 Before Work Has Started

If a user requests cancellation before work has materially started, Fried Engineers may provide a full or partial refund after deducting any non-recoverable payment processing or administrative charges, where applicable.

9.2 After Work Has Started

Once customized work has started, any refund will generally be limited to the portion of the service that has not yet been performed. Work already completed, consultation time used and expenses already incurred may be deducted.

9.3 Completed or Delivered Services

A refund will generally not be available solely because the user changes their mind after the agreed service has been substantially completed or delivered.

9.4 Non-Delivery

If Fried Engineers is unable to provide a paid service that it has accepted and no reasonable alternative can be agreed, the user may be entitled to an appropriate refund for the undelivered portion.

9.5 Digital Downloads

Digital products or downloadable files are generally non-refundable after access or delivery because they cannot practically be returned. However, if a digital product is materially defective, corrupted, incorrectly supplied or materially different from its description, users should contact us so that we can provide a replacement, correction or other appropriate remedy.

9.6 Academic Results Are Not a Refund Condition

Refunds are not based on grades, marks, university acceptance, publication acceptance, supervisor approval, employment outcomes or other decisions made by third parties, provided the agreed service itself was delivered substantially in accordance with its agreed scope.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict any mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Digital Products, Code & Downloadable Resources

Fried Engineers may provide downloadable educational resources including templates, reports, guides, datasets, sample code, project files, presentations, diagrams or other digital material.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchasing or downloading a digital product gives the user a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use it for lawful educational or professional purposes.

Users may not resell, redistribute, publicly upload, commercially sublicense or represent Fried Engineers’ proprietary digital resources as their own original products unless written permission has been provided.

Open-source software, libraries, datasets or third-party components included in a resource remain subject to their respective licences and terms.

11. User-Provided Files, Data & Content

Users may provide datasets, documents, code, reports, images, research material, technical specifications or other files to Fried Engineers in connection with a service.

You retain ownership of content that you lawfully own. By providing material to Fried Engineers, you authorize us to access, process, modify and use that material only as reasonably necessary to evaluate, communicate about or perform the requested service and for other purposes permitted by our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the necessary authority or permission to share such material with us and that doing so does not unlawfully violate another person’s confidentiality, intellectual property, privacy or other rights.

Users should not provide passwords, confidential personal information or sensitive data unless it is genuinely necessary for the requested service and an appropriate method of sharing has been agreed.

12.1 Custom Deliverables

Fried Engineers retains ownership of its pre-existing methodologies, reusable templates, frameworks, know-how, tools, software components and other intellectual property that existed independently of a user’s specific order.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Fried Engineers or its services to:

violate applicable law or another person’s rights;
engage in fraud, academic misconduct or deceptive practices;

15. Accuracy of Information & No Guarantee of Results

specific grades, marks or academic results;
approval by a supervisor, university or institution;
acceptance of a paper by a journal or conference;
publication, citation or research impact;
a particular plagiarism or similarity percentage;
a particular AI-detection score;
error-free operation of third-party software or code;
commercial success of a project;
employment, admission, funding or professional outcomes; or
that every website resource will remain available indefinitely.

Technical and educational decisions should be made using appropriate independent judgement, testing and, where necessary, qualified professional advice.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fried Engineers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of or inability to use the website or services.

Where a paid service is terminated by Fried Engineers for reasons unrelated to misconduct or breach by the user, any appropriate refund for genuinely undelivered work will be considered in accordance with the refund provisions above.

20. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.

If a dispute arises, users are encouraged to contact Fried Engineers first so that the matter can be reviewed and an attempt can be made to resolve it in good faith.

Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or jurisdiction provided by applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or Fried Engineers’ services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi, India.

21. Force Majeure

Fried Engineers will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures, power outages, cyber incidents, third-party platform outages, labour disruptions, public emergencies or similar events.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

23. No Waiver

Failure by Fried Engineers to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific written quotation, order confirmation, invoice, service scope or other terms agreed for a particular service, constitute the agreement governing that service.

If specific written terms agreed for an individual service conflict with these general Terms, the specific agreed terms will apply to that service to the extent of the conflict.

Fried Engineers may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to services, business practices, technology or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
