Smart home system real-time hybrid is a B.Tech project topic for Electrical Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
Smart home system real-time hybrid Project Details
| Abstract |
This project introduces an ESP32βbased smartβhome system that combines environmental sensing, electrical monitoring, and secure access control. Instead of separate homeβautomation units, the design brings together load monitoring, relay control, and RFID authentication in one workflow. The system uses two communication channels. A Blynk dashboard displays live data and lets users control devices remotely. At the same time, WhatsApp messages are sent when important events occur, such as overcurrent, security breaches, or RFID token changes. A main feature is an automatic disconnect that turns off the load if the current rises above 3.5 A, protecting against electrical hazards. Tests on the prototype show that WiβFi connects in 2β5 seconds, messages
are delivered in 1β2 seconds, and the loadβshedding works reliably across several scenarios. The implementation offers practical tips for building integrated home safety, energyβmanagement, and accessβcontrol solutions.
