Design Implementation Web Crawler System is a B.Tech project topic for Information Technology. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
Design Implementation Web Crawler System Project Details
| Abstract |
This project designs and builds a web crawler using Python tools to pull useful data from the huge amount of information on the web. Many existing openβsource crawlers are hard to adapt and can be slow. To fix that, we tested three popular Python scraping approaches: Requests, Scrapy, and Selenium. We ran sideβbyβside simulations to compare their speed, ability to run many tasks at once, and how well they fit different system designs. The results show that Requests works well for simple, oneβbyβone jobs, Selenium is best when a page relies on JavaScript, and Scrapy gives the best overall performance for most tasks. Scrapyβs builtβin async crawling and flexible concurrency
make it the top choice for projects that need to scale. The project also includes stepβbyβstep advice on building reliable scraping pipelines, covering system architecture, data parsing, and storage efficiency. This guide can help IT students create fast, robust dataβcollection agents.
