Cyber Security Artificial Intelligence Digital Project Details
| Abstract |
This research tackles the important overlap of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. It looks at the legal, ethical, and technical problems that come up when we put machineβlearning tools into modern security systems. Threats are changing fast. We now see autonomous malware, deepfakes, and ransomwareβasβaβservice. Because of this, traditional intrusion detection systems (IDS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms are turning to AI to make decisions. But AIβbased defenses bring new risks. They can be attacked with adversarial techniques such as model poisoning and evasion. They also tend to produce many false positives and act like βblack boxes,β making it hard to understand why they decide what they do.
The project aims to give structure and guidance for building AI security frameworks that are robust, explainable, and ethically sound. It will study the tradeβoffs between automated incident response and human responsibility, and it will develop mathematical and algorithmic defenses against adversarial manipulation. In addition, the work will examine the legal and social effects of automated threat mitigation. It will review relevant compliance standards and policy frameworks. The main outcome is a new anomalyβdetection model that is both accurate and transparent, helping to close the governance gaps in autonomous digital defense systems.
