Conventional electropulse machining systems often incur high capital costs and exhibit limited productivity due to the intermittent nature of spark discharges and interelectrode pauses. To address these limitations, particularly in low-cost repair workshop environments where extreme precision is secondary to high material removal rates, this research direction focuses on the design and structural improvement of an electroerosion head. The system is configured for dimensional processing utilizing a continuous electric arc, integrated onto a standard desktop drilling machine featuring manual electrode-tool feeding. The methodology involves analyzing the kinematic and electrical parameters of the manual feed mechanism to ensure stable arc maintenance without short-circuiting. Thermal and structural simulations are utilized to evaluate

the thermal stability of the modified head under continuous arc discharge conditions. By optimizing the electrode holder geometry and dielectric fluid flushing mechanism, the project aims to enhance the material removal rate while maintaining acceptable dimensional accuracy. Implementation support includes structuring the experimental setup, guiding the selection of electrical power parameters, and documenting the comparative performance of the modified arc-erosion head against conventional spark-erosion techniques.
