Research Condition Monitoring Technology Modular Project Details
| Abstract |
This research addresses the development of an intelligent state monitoring and evaluation framework for modular reactive power compensation (RPC) control systems in modern distribution networks. Utilizing operational state data gathered via distribution transformer terminal information collection systems, the methodology establishes a comprehensive state evaluation model based on Bayesian networks. The proposed analytical model systematically resolves critical operational challenges, including over-compensation, under-compensation, excessive switching frequency, and control sensitivity within the modular RPC unit. To validate the theoretical approach, a dedicated state monitoring software platform is developed, integrating a three-phase basic electrical parameter monitoring module. Experimental evaluations demonstrate that the measurement discrepancy between the developed monitoring system and standard power quality meters
remains below one percent, confirming the high precision of the acquired three-phase voltage data. This framework provides a robust research direction for real-time, online condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of reactive power compensation devices, thereby enhancing grid stability, optimizing power factor correction, and improving overall power quality management in electrical distribution systems.
