Research Human-Computer Interaction Security Risk Project Details
| Abstract |
This research looks at important security problems that appear where humanβcomputer interaction (HCI) meets software engineering. By studying the whole life cycle and the running phases of software, we find the main risk factors that show up when users interact with the system. To reduce these risks, we propose a comprehensive defense framework that combines Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS). The IDS/IPS watch network traffic and user behavior in realβtime. Our method builds a systematic riskβanalysis model that rates technical, managerial, and personnel threats. When the interaction layer shows unusual patterns or signs of intrusion, the system automatically launches a response to stop the threat before
it reaches the software core. The project gives a clear way to assess HCIβrelated security risks and offers advice for adding strong defenses to modern software architectures. Simulations and tests of the IDS/IPS framework show that adding security measures throughout the software engineering life cycle makes the system more resilient and protects userβdata integrity.
