Sliding-Mode Control IT2 Fuzzy Nonlinear Project Details
| Abstract |
This project designs and studies a robust slidingβmode control (SMC) system for intervalβtypeβ2 (IT2) fuzzy nonlinear singularly perturbed plants that run over a network. An IT2 fuzzy model is used to capture the plantβs parameter uncertainties and nonlinear behavior. A disturbance observer is added to the controller so it can estimate and cancel external disturbances in real time. To save network bandwidth, a dynamic eventβtriggered mechanism (DETM) with an adaptive threshold is employed; it sends data only when needed, keeping performance intact. The controller uses a fuzzy integral sliding surface built with a nonparallel distribution compensation design, which gives the controller more flexibility. Stability is proved with a membershipβfunctionβdependent method,
producing relaxed conditions that ensure global asymptotic stability at a specified performance level. Simulations on electricβcircuit models confirm that the approach reduces disturbances, saves communication bandwidth, and handles dynamics that evolve on multiple time scales. The work also offers stepβbyβstep guidance for modeling, simulating, and evaluating advanced networked slidingβmode controllers.
