The history software engineering as is a B.Tech project topic for Computer Science & Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
The history software engineering as Project Details
| Abstract |
This study describes how we designed and built an educational computer game about the history of software engineering. The game focuses on the 1968 Software Engineering conference and the soβcalled βsoftware crisis.β It is made in the visualβnovel style, and its story comes straight from the conference reports. Real speeches and debates were turned into interactive character dialogues. To create the look of the game, we used AI tools to produce character sprites and background images based on actual photographs from the 1968 event. The game runs on the RenβPy engine, so it works on Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, and in web browsers. As an interactive, storyβdriven tool, it can
be used in introductory softwareβengineering courses to help students grasp the early challenges of the field. The paper notes that it does not include any quantitative data on how the game affects student learning or engagement.
