A strong defense proves that you understand the problem, the design decisions, the evidence and the limits—not just the slides.

1. Decode the Rubric First

Confirm the time limit, required sections, demo rules and scoring criteria. Build for your department's actual expectations.

2. Tell One Engineering Story

Move cleanly from problem and requirements to method, prototype, tests, results and conclusion. Each section should answer why the next was needed.

3. Replace Text With Evidence

Use one readable chart, schematic or test image per claim. Label axes, units, baselines and test conditions so the result can be judged.

Rehearse the live sequence, preload files, charge hardware and record a backup video. A failed connection should not erase your evidence.
