A comprehensive review incremental launching is a B.Tech project topic for Civil Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
A comprehensive review incremental launching Project Details
| Abstract |
This project entails an extensive examination of the incremental launching method (ILM) and its use within prestressed reinforced concrete bridges. This research seeks to understand the historical use and subsequent end of use of ILM in Vietnam. ILM ended its use in the 1990s during the period of technology transfer to improve the national transport system. Although ILM was initially used successfully, it was eventually discontinued due to the high cost of construction, resulting in a political decision to stop using it. This research is intended to analyze the reasons for this political decision, particularly the lack of adequate project formulation, insufficient design survey, and the procurement of the required
technological apparatus. It is hoped that this research will address the reason for the apparent irrationality of the ILM, particularly in relation to previous political decisions, and help optimize the use of sophisticated construction techniques in developing countries.
