Smart Integration Optimisation Electronic-Electrical Architectures is a M.Tech project topic for Electrical Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.

Smart Integration Optimisation Electronic-Electrical Architectures Project Details

Abstract

Next‑generation electric and intelligent‑connected vehicles need tightly integrated, optimized electronic‑electrical (E/E) architectures to handle the growing complexity of on‑board systems, communication networks, and power‑distribution units. This research looks at how to model, integrate, and optimize advanced E/E architectures as they move from traditional, scattered electronic control unit (ECU) layouts to more centralized domain‑control or zonal‑control designs. By comparing factors such as computational latency, wiring harness weight, power dissipation, and communication bandwidth, the approach builds a solid framework for co‑designing electrical power networks and high‑speed data buses. Simulation studies test the integrated architecture during dynamic driving cycles, with attention to electromagnetic compatibility, fault tolerance, and energy efficiency. The framework also gives

clear guidance for evaluating network protocols—like Automotive Ethernet and Controller Area Network Flexible Data‑Rate (CAN FD)—within unified vehicle control units. In the end, this work supports the creation of scalable, secure, and highly efficient electrical distribution systems that can smoothly incorporate autonomous‑driving functions and advanced power‑train management in modern electrified vehicles.
