IoT Patient Healthcare Monitoring System is a B.Tech project topic for Biotechnology & Biomedical Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
IoT Patient Healthcare Monitoring System Project Details
| Abstract |
This project designs and builds an Internet of Things (IoT) patientβmonitoring system that tracks vital signs continuously. The hardware includes two biosensorsβa pulseβrate sensor and an LM35 temperature sensorβthat capture a patientβs beats per minute and body temperature in real time. An embedded microcontroller reads the sensor data and shows the current values on a local liquidβcrystal display (LCD) for onβsite monitoring. If any measured value crosses a preset safety limit, the system automatically sounds a buzzer and sends an emergency alert to remote caregivers. The device also connects to an IoT cloud platform, where the data are plotted graphically and stored for later review. This lets clinicians see longβterm
health trends and reduces the manual workload of staff. Overall, the framework offers a reliable, lowβcost, and scalable solution for use in hospitals as well as in homeβbased patient care.
