The work proposes a B.Tech‑level simulation and prototyping framework for exploring these modern grid dynamics. Using MATLAB/Simulink together with hardware‑in‑the‑loop microgrid models, the project examines key smart‑grid elements such as Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), automated demand‑side management, and the integration of distributed energy resources (DER).
