Design Implementation IOT Smart Home is a B.Tech project topic for Instrumentation and Control Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
Design Implementation IOT Smart Home Project Details
| Abstract |
This project designs and builds an IoTβbased smartβhome monitoring and control system with a NodeMCU board. The goal is to let users control appliances from one place and to watch temperature, humidity, and air quality in real time, which can save energy and improve security. A DHT11 sensor measures temperature and humidity, while an MQ2 sensor checks air quality and can detect smoke or fire. The NodeMCU runs a web dashboard created with custom HTML. Once the board joins a local network, it gets its own IP address, so anyone on the same network can open the dashboard in a web browser. Tests showed the builtβin WiβFi can reach up
to 42.05 m indoors. The results also show that as the WiβFi distance grows, the time it takes for commands from the dashboard to be processed also increases. For B.Tech students, this system offers handsβon experience with embedded hardware, wireless links, and sensor integration, though more work is needed to reduce latency at longer distances.
