Artifact 31 Localized Quantum Inertia Project Details
| Abstract |
The goal of this work is to help design and test a Localized Quantum Inertia Dampening Array (LQIDA). Its main purpose is to cut down the ways the environment can disturb quantumβprocessing hardware, especially mechanical and thermal noise. To do that, the plan combines several techniques: – Cryogenic magnetic containment to keep magnetic fields stable at very low temperatures. – Diamond metrology that uses nitrogenβvacancy (NV) centers for precise measurements. – Superconducting fluxβqubit modulation to control qubit behavior. – Casimirβgeometry control to manage forces that arise at tiny distances. Together, these methods should lower the environmental noise floor by about three orders of magnitude. The approach is based on experimental
data, so it replaces vague βinertial cancellationβ ideas with realistic quantumβstability numbers. The project will model how superconducting qubits interact with the localized magnetic fields when everything is cooled to cryogenic temperatures. It also includes safety procedures, risk assessments, and ethical guidelines that follow openβaccess technology standards. Overall, this review gives a practical roadmap for: – Simulating how much the noise floor can be reduced. – Studying Casimirβforce effects. – Tuning metrology feedback loops to lengthen quantum coherence times in highβprecision computing systems.
