Climate Change Water Bankruptcy Agrarian is a M.Tech project topic for Civil Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
Climate Change Water Bankruptcy Agrarian Project Details
| Abstract |
This project looks at how climate change and local water shortages affect farming communities in Lower Dir district, Pakistan. We used a crossβsectional quantitative study to see how chronic water lack impacts small farms. We surveyed 387 farming households using multiβstage sampling. The data were examined with descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression to get adjusted odds ratios (AOR) and confidence intervals for the main climateβvulnerability factors. The results show that local water supplies can no longer meet traditional irrigation needs. Water shortage is the strongest predictor of farm vulnerability, with an AOR of 8.72 in the basic model and 4.62 after full adjustment. Farmers are trying adaptation measures like
planting different crops, but these are not enough to offset the overall water deficit. The study suggests a roadmap for communityβbased water management that combines vulnerability modeling with hydrological planning to improve climate resilience in waterβstressed farming areas.
