This project develops an Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring and access‑management system to improve safety in industrial workplaces. It targets three main risks: liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leaks, fires, and entry by unauthorized or impaired workers. A set of sensors—alcohol, LPG, and flame detectors—continuously checks the environment and tests employee sobriety at key entry points. A NodeMCU microcontroller acts as the brain, reading the sensor data and carrying out real‑time control actions. Sensor readings are sent to the ThingSpeak cloud platform so they can be viewed remotely. When a serious condition occurs, the system sends SMS alerts and updates a dedicated web portal for authorized staff. Access to hazardous storage
areas is allowed only after an automatic alcohol screening. If a fire risk is detected, the system instantly starts an emergency response, turning on a local sprinkler circuit to suppress the fire. The whole setup is scalable, reliable, and fully automated, offering a practical solution for industrial hazard mitigation and access control.
