Scientometric Analysis Climate Change Construction is a M.Tech project topic for Environmental Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
Scientometric Analysis Climate Change Construction Project Details
| Abstract |
This project gives a full scientometric review of the worldwide academic work that links climate change with construction cost management. We built a clean data set that includes peerβreviewed articles, conference papers, and book chapters from the main scientific databases. Using that data, we map the fieldβs intellectual structure, where the research is coming from, and how it has changed over time. Our methods rely on modern bibliometric softwareβVOSviewer and the Bibliometrix package in R. With these tools we: * run basic bibliometric statistics, * create coβoccurrence networks, * detect bursts of keywords using the Kleinberg algorithm, * perform thematic cluster analysis. The results show a sharp rise in publications
during the past ten years. However, the output is unevenly spread: most studies come from developed countries, while highly vulnerable areas such as SubβSaharan Africa are barely represented. By pointing out major knowledge gaps, active research fronts, and existing collaboration networks, the study offers a clear framework for future work, policy making, and costβeffective climateβadaptation plans in civil and environmental engineering. It can serve as a solid starting point for further research on sustainable infrastructure development.
