smart internet things driven vehicle safety is a B.Tech project topic for Automobile Engineering. It gives students a clear starting point for research, implementation planning, and documentation.
smart internet things driven vehicle safety Project Details
| Abstract |
The study tackles two problems at once: more road accidents and the wearβout of electricβvehicle (EV) batteries. It does this by building a combined safety and batteryβmanagement system. The system uses an Internet of Things (IoT) setup to watch both how the vehicle moves and how the battery is doing. For crash detection, an ADXL345 accelerometer spots sudden impacts. A GPS receiver and a GSM module send emergency alerts and the vehicleβs location in real time. At the same time, a batteryβmanagement block checks key values such as voltage, current, and temperature with dedicated sensors. An Arduino microcontroller gathers all the local data, and an ESP8266 WiβFi module pushes the
information to a cloud platform where it can be viewed and analyzed. Tests show that the impact detector is very accurate, the emergency alerts are sent with very little delay, and the battery variables are tracked reliably. This allβinβone platform can be expanded to improve emergency response, enable predictive maintenance, and raise overall safety for electric cars and commercial fleets.
