Technological factors formation structure highly Project Details
| Abstract |
This research looks at the structural and mechanical properties of sandβpolymer composites that are heavily filled and made from recycled thermoplastic resins. The matrix is a recycled mix of polypropylene (PP) and lowβdensity polyethylene (LDPE) in a 3 : 1 mass ratio, combined with about 75 wt % quartz sand filler. To improve the bond at the interface and cut down on defects, we add tiny amounts (0.01β0.1 wt %) of nanomodifiersβdetonation carbon charge and highly dispersed silica (Aerosilβ380)βusing extrusion blending with LDPEβbased masterbatches. The study examines how the melt flow index (MFI) changes in a nonβlinear way with nanomodifier concentration, which shows physical interactions between the nanoclusters and the
polymer chains. We test peel strength on oxide substrates to see how adhesion improves, and we measure thermally stimulated depolarization (TSD) currents to assess chargeβtrap density and supramolecular ordering. The work provides a clear method for analyzing how these nanomodifiers shift thermal transition temperatures and strengthen the recycled polymerβsand matrix, pointing to a sustainable route for highβperformance construction materials.
