Technopreneurship digital business ERA silk Project Details
| Abstract |
This research aims to identify the primary factors contributing to the success of technopreneurship within Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the silk industry, with a specific emphasis on Wajo Regency. The study adopts a mixed-methods technique, combining qualitative and quantitative data gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, surveys, and documentation. Some factors that contribute to success in this field are: innovation in the products, the adoption of technology by the firm, the improvement of the workforce, obtaining financial resources, the establishment of networks, and the support of local governments. Although the silk industry in Wajo Regency has a high potential for the economic development of the region, it is unable
to deal with the current digital era in business. This study underlines the importance of integrated and collaborative ecosystems for the promotion of technopreneurship in the new digital era. Such integration expedites the process of digitalization, improves operational efficiency, broadens the market, and minimizes costs associated with production and distribution. The success of SMEs in the new digital era is largely dependent on technopreneurship. The recommendations include improving the production processes, increasing market access, and enhancing product innovation through the optimum use of digital tools, establishment of a partnership network, and the introduction of supportive policies. Strengthening SMEβs digital capability, business incubation, and promoting continuous development are further recommendations.
