Novel Active Disturbance Rejection‐Based Sliding‐Mode Project Details

Abstract

Permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) drive systems require robust control strategies to mitigate external disturbances and parameter variations. While active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) offers strong anti-disturbance capabilities and rapid dynamic response, the high number of adjustable parameters complicates practical implementation. To address this limitation, a novel sliding mode-based active disturbance rejection control (SM-ADRC) scheme featuring autotuned parameters is investigated. This methodology integrates sliding mode control with an extended state observer (ESO) and a nonlinear state error feedback (NLSEF) mechanism to systematically reduce the parameter tuning complexity. Furthermore, a simulated annealing particle swarm optimization (SAPSO) algorithm is utilized to optimize the controller configuration and achieve automated parameter self-tuning. This

research framework provides comprehensive guidance for modeling the PMLSM speed servo system, implementing the integrated SM-ADRC architecture, and executing the SAPSO algorithm. The performance of the proposed control strategy is evaluated based on its capability to suppress the chattering effect, enhance disturbance rejection, and accelerate dynamic response under varying operating conditions. The project structure supports simulation-based validation and comparative analysis against conventional ADRC and standard sliding mode control techniques.
